Paralysed police sergeant reported healed after convention

Nkoranza (B/A), March 23, GNA – A five-day annual Easter convention of members of the ‘Church of Divine Heart’ has ended at Nkoranza with a paralysed police sergeant being able to walk again.

Sergeant William Worae, 48, who had been paralysed for three months told the congregation he had tried orthodox medicine, as well as some fetish priests and priestesses for healing but all to no avail.

He thanked God and appealed to Christians to continue to lean on Him for the solution of all problems that confront them.

Pastor Anthony Manu, the leading pastor, advised the youth to guard against engaging in unproductive practices and to shun hard drugs and illicit sex, which could expose them to diseases such as HIV/AIDS. Pastor Manu called on politicians, traditional rulers and religious leaders not to place their interests above those of the people, but rather ensure that they help the people in addressing their problems.
