Palaver Editor Recieves Death Threat

Some political fanatics, especially those on the lunatic fringe, think they can put the fear of God in the Editor of the “Ghana Palaver”, Mr Jojo Bruce Quansah, but the man says, he can not be scared by anybody. Mr Bruce Quansah, who was reacting to death threat he received early Sunday morning, said after almost twenty four (24) years in Journalism, anybody who think he can subdue him with death threats is making a fool of himself.

He said he was in bed listening the early morning news when his cell phone rang. When he picked it up and answered it, the voice on the other side asked, “Is that Jojo Bruce Quansah ?” Mr Quansah said he answered in the affirmative.

The voice at the other end then asked, “Did you hear the death of Alhaji Mama Adam?” “Yes”, he said. Then the voice at the other end said “Good, if you don’t stop your nonsense, you will go the same way Alhaji Mama Adam is gone. Take my advise and stay alive”. then the caller hanged up. Mr Quansah said, it is unfortunate that these political “mad dogs” should use a time like Alhaji Adam’s death to threaten him adding that “we have been through worse things, it is not one telephone call that is going to put us to sleep”.

He assured the papers numerous readers that he is not deterred, he will continue to give them the truth and nothing else.
