Paga Air Strip to get facelift

Paga (UE) Dec. 9, GNA – The Paga Air Strip in the Upper East Region is to be rehabilitated to make air transport to the region easier to facilit= ate business activities. Mr Mark Woyongo, Regional Minister made this known when he led a team= of experts from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority to the strip to assess proposed works on the facility. The inspection team recommended among other things the re-gravelling of the air strip, re-alignment and extension of the runway and improvement o= f air space management for business activities. It recommended the involvement of stakeholders such as the Volta Rive= r Authority and the Ghana National Fire Service to ensure the safety of air=
