Ekuasi (W/R), Dec 2, – Papa Owusu-Ankomah, Minister of Justice and Attorney General and Mr. Joseph B. Aidoo, the Western Regional Minister, on Tuesday inspected work on the Takoradi-Ekuasi Sea defence wall that is under construction.

Work is will be completed by February 2004.

Papa Owusu-Ankomah, who is also the Member of Parliament for Sekondi, said the re-construction of the sea defence wall is meant to facilitate the movement of goods and people along the beach road between Sekondi and Takoradi.

He said the government is committed to the development of the country, and that was why the Inchaban-Ngyeresia-Sekondi road is being constructed.

The MP said it is expected that brisk business would resume in Sekondi after the construction of both roads.
