Over 57,000 Students Access “No Fees Stress” Portal – Felix Kwakye Ofosu

More than 57,000 students have accessed the “No Fees Stress” online portal, according to an official update from the Minister for Government Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the Minister revealed that 57,327 students had so far accessed the portal, which was launched as part of the government’s effort to support tertiary students who may have paid fees under the new policy.

Out of the total number, 41,647 students have successfully completed the registration process.

Mr. Kwakye Ofosu explained that registration is crucial to obtaining the banking details of students for reimbursement, particularly those who have already paid their fees prior to the implementation of the policy.

The data gathered will also help validate the lists submitted by various public tertiary institutions across the country.

The “No Fees Stress” initiative is aimed at easing the financial burden on students following the government’s decision to absorb tertiary education fees under a new policy framework
