Otumfuo’s Foundation takes delivery of books

The Otumfuo Charity Foundation has taken delivery of large quantity of exercise books for distribution to needy school kids.

They were a donation from Golden Pride Savings and Loans.

Mr Prince William Ankrah, the Board Chairman, said the goal is to provide support to the less privilege children in the society.

He said the Company would continue to associate with efforts at promoting education, especially among the rural poor.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, said he was encouraged by the gesture and invited all to work together to make things better for the socially disadvantaged.

Everybody should have space to contribute to the welfare and development of orphans and other vulnerable children.

The Asantehene used the occasion to counsel the financial institutions to be ethical, operate within the banking regulations and adopt best practices to sustain them on the path of growth.
