Otabil: “God made man for woman; not man for man”

Pastor Mensa Otabil has said homosexuality can be put down to people’s inability to differentiate between love for the opposite sex, and love for a person of the same sex.

According to him, God created the male in such a way that his body will fit into that of a female.

“A male and a male don’t fit together; a female and a female don’t fit together”, the motivational speaker told his congregation in a message played back on his ‘Living Word’ series on private FM station, Joy.

The founder of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) said: “If you’re a man, you must be able to love a woman, if you’re a woman, you must be able to love a man…separate them”.

In his view, people’s failure to clearly differentiate between the two kinds of love is what leads to homosexual relationships.

“Differentiate”, he said, adding: “…When you don’t differentiate, everything looks the same”, and disorder reigns.
