Osafo-Marfo hints at Presidential ambitions

Education and Sport Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo is keeping his cards close to his chest on reports that he is nursing hopes of succeeding President Kufuor.

Buoyed by the Black Stars recent qualification to the World Cup, Mr. Osafo Marfo says he is dealing with what he envisaged would be challenges to be surmounted in his current job after managing the country?s economy for 4 years.

Analysts suggest Mr. Marfo?s approach so far exemplifies a very keen but subtle race among leading personalities who have eyes on the country?s top job on the NPP?s ticket.

Mr. Marfo seems to be enjoying his role in facilitating Ghana?s qualification to the world cup.
