Opuni didn’t head Cocobod; he murdered it – Fadi Dabbousi

Ghanaian-Lebanese journalist, author and pilot and a fierce critic of former president John Dramani Mahama, Fadi Dabbousi says the immediate past Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cocobod, Dr. Stephen Opuni did not head the firm but murdered it.

Speaking in an interview with Frontline host on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Mr. Dabbousi alleged that, Dr. Opuni and one Dr. Baah, the Head of Cocoa Health superintended over rot, corruption and thievery at Cocobod.

He described Dr. Opuni as an inefficient leader who allegedly looted massively at the state facility.

He has therefore called for a probe into the activities of Dr. Opuni who was recently asked to step aside.

He also rubbished claims that Ghanaians hate the former CEO of Cocobod stating, Ghanaians don’t hate him, they hate the injustice meted out to them by Dr. Opuni and his ‘’stooge” Mr. Baah.

Mr. Baah and Dr. Opuni he further alleged, imported sub-standard fertilizers into the country and smuggled our cocoa to Ivory Coast.
