Open your eyes and you will see the projects – Mills tells critics

President Mills has challenged critics who claim his government has not achieved anything since assuming office to open their eyes to see the numerous developmental projects across the country.

The President made the comments when he commissioned a three unit classroom block under the Millennium City project at Mamprobi, a suburb of Accra.

According to him, Ghanaians will witness massive development in all spheres of their national lives when the NDC administration is given another term in office.

“Seeing they say is believing and those who say we have not done anything can see this for themselves. This is clear evidence that we have fulfilled many of the promises that we made and I am happy to be associated with them.

“I want the children to take advantage of this facility and as time goes on I am confident that we will be able to add more” President Mills said.

President Mills added that the project is a manifestation of Government’s commitment towards improved educational standards.

In January 2010, Accra was declared a Millennium city by the United States to design strategies for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.**
