Open Gate concert

This weekend on August 6, Maryland will be seeing the biggest concert and after party hosted by Open Gate entertainment. Open Gate is a new entertainment company prepared to take the USA by storm by bringing you the hottest party and concerts that you can only imagine. This is exactly what they are doing by bringing two of Ghana’s artists making waves in Africa with hits like “I Think I like Am”, “Away”, “Kotosa”, “Burning Desire” and so much more.

I am talking about no one other than award winning hiplife trio VIP (Vision in Progress). This group is made up of Abdul Hamidu Ibrahim (Lazzy), Emmanuel Ababio (Promzy) and Joseph Nana Ofori (Prodigal). Wutah on the other hand made up of Daniel Morris and Frank Osei won our hearts with their beautiful voices after coming in second to Praye in the Nescafe Africa Revelation music competition in Accra held five years ago. The name “Wutah” means fire in Hausa and that is what they certainly bring in their music and performances. There are rumors that this award winning group is breaking up so this might be your last chance of seeing them for the last time in concert before they part ways for their solo careers. Along side are quest artist Dickie D and Koby Maxwell. DJ Ras (VA) and DJ Ronny (NY) will be spinning all night long.

Tickets are now on sale for $30 but expect more at the door.

Venue: The Hampton Conference Center
Address: 207 West Hampton Place, Capital Heights, MD 20743
This is one concert you definitely don’t want to miss and I promise, your money will be worth it.
