Only villagers vote ‘skirt and blouse’ – Mark Assibey-Yeboah

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for New Juaben South Constituency of the Eastern Region, Dr. Mark Assibey Yeboah, has stated that anyone who votes ‘skirt and blouse’ in the upcoming elections is a villager.

Addressing supporters at the Suhum main lorry park during the party’s constituency campaign launch Sunday , the economist told the teeming supporters that all NPP members must vote for both presidential and parliamentary candidates and that it would be unwise on their part to vote for different parties in the upcoming election .

According to him, the NPP needs majority in parliament to perform creditably when it forms the next government, pointing out that the practice whereby Suhum constituents vote for the party’s presidential candidate and vote for a parliamentary candidate of another party smacks of stupidity and incivility .
