Ghanaian based online market platform, www.dziffa.com, will be launched officially on August 6, 2015, at the Segal Theatre Center, New York, at 6pm.
Dziffa.com is meant to decrease Ghana’s dependence on imports by promoting domestic and global consumption of locally manufactured products.
Dzifa Ametam, founder of dziffa.com, said the objective of the initiative is to replace the current imported goods on the market with affordable locally manufactured products to encourage Ghanaians to buy locally made products instead of imported goods.
“Dziffa.com works with the best manufacturers in Ghana to bring global consumers the best products the country has to offer which in turn increases global purchase of finished goods from Ghana,” she added.
The launch would consist of an extensive insight into the profiles of the eight promising local enterprises working with Dziffa.com, presentation by the Ghana mission to the UN and partnership opportunities in Ghana’s manufacturing sector.
There will also be a Products and Art Exhibition and auction of selected items.
The Ghanaian mission to the UN, various Ghanaian churches and organizations in New York City are sponsors of the launch.
