One person dies in motor accident at Twifo Heman

Twifo Heman (C/R) Feb. 23 GNA- One person died and two others sustained injuries in an accident which occurred on Sunday at the outskirts of Twifo Heman in the Central Region.

The deceased, according to the Twifo Praso police have been identified as Kwesi Atta 32 years old, while the two, who sustained injuries could not be immediately identified.

According to Mr Stephen Delaporl, Twifo Praso district police commander, Atta was travelling on a motor bike from Twifo Ntafrewaso to Twifo Heman at about 1900 hours and on reaching the outskirts of Heman, his motor bike collided with an oncoming VW Vento car. Mr Delaporl said Atta died shortly on arrival at the Twifo Praso government hospital, while the two others were treated and discharged. He said the deceased motor bike got burnt while the VW car was also damaged.

Meanwhile the body of the deceased has been deposited at the central regional hospital mortuary for autopsy.
