A woman has reportedly been shot dead at Dondoli, a suburb of Wa, in the Upper West region by unknown gunmen.
Four others who sustained gunshot wounds during the incident which occurred Saturday night, according to Starr FM’s Upper West regional correspondent, Musah Lansah have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Heavily armed Police personnel have been deployed to the area to maintain order but officials are tight-lipped over exactly what caused the shooting incident.
No arrest has been made yet by the Police who have launched investigations into the matter
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased is asking for Police protection to bury their relative.
