A Salaga Magistrate court in the Northern region Presided over by David Serbean has sentenced a 21-year-old man to four months imprisonment with hard labour for circulating naked pictures of young girls in the area.
Yunus Yusif was charged with circulation of obscene material and convicted on his own plea.
According to the Northern regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ebernezer Tetteh, the police found a memory card on Yusif upon a tip-off by a concerned resident.
He said the convict claimed to have picked the memory card, which contained naked pictures of young ladies, from the ground on his way back home from the mosque.
It would be recalled that David Mubarik, a nurse at the Salaga Government Hospital, allegedly secretly filmed his sexual encounters with over 16 ladies in the area.
He was reported to have told some locals that the memory card of his phone, which contained his escapades, had been stolen and that the pictures were possibly being leaked by the unknown thief.
