Twifo Praso (C/R) March. 10, GNA- One person died on the spot and seven others were injured when the vehicle on which they were travelling was involved in an accident at Twifo Mampong on Thursday. Briefing the GNA at Twifo-Praso on Friday, ASP Stephen Delaporte, the district police commander, said the accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle, which was travelling from Twifo- Praso to Cape Coast attempted to overtake another vehicle along Twifo Mampong/Hemang road.
He said the deceased had been identified as Madam Ama Owusua, 50, a trader whose body had been deposited at the Central Regional hospital for autopsy, while the inured have been sent to TOPP hospital for treatment. 10 March 06
