Old Vandals Association to organise jamboree on Monday, July 2

The annual Republic Day Jamboree organised by the Old Vandals Association, the alumni of Commonwealth Hall University of Ghana, is scheduled for the Commonwealth Hall Gardens on Monday, July 2.

A statement issued in Accra on Wednesday by Mr. Razak El-Alawa, National President of the Association copied to Ghana News Agency, said the theme for the jamboree was “The Role of Vandals Towards Peaceful Election 2012”.

It said Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan, Chairman of the Electoral Commission would be the Guest Speaker with Vice President John Dramani Mahama, an Old Vandal as the Guest of Honour.

Other dignitaries are Daasebre Professor Emeritus Oti Boateng, Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area and President of Eastern Region House of Chiefs and Osagyefo Agyemang Badu II, Omanhene of Dormaa Traditional Area, both Old Vandals.**
