Old students donates mover to his alma mater

Goaso (B/A), July 20, GNA- Mr. Stephen Nyanor, an old student of Ahafoman Secondary/Technical School at Goaso in Asunafo District of Brong Ahafo has presented a mower valued at 11.5 million cedis to the school.

Mr. George Nyanor, a brother of the donor presented the item, and said his brother’s gesture was in response to an appeal the school authorities made to him last year.

Mr. Akwasi Asamoah, Headmaster of the school, commended the donor for the gesture and expressed optimism that the mower would reduce long hours the students spend in weeding around the school.

He noted that the school had become less known in the region largely because of its neglect by the old products, some of whom had occupied well-meaning positions both at home and abroad.

The headmaster appealed to citizens of Ahafo, to assist the school with modern educational materials to facilitate teaching and learning.
