Old Guards pledge support for the Government

Kumasi, April 30, GNA – The Old-Guards Association of the National democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region has pledged support for the Mills Administration as it worked hard to transform the economy and make life better for all Ghanaians.

They said the government was on course to delivering on its electoral promises and that they would give it the necessary support to succeed. This was contained in a statement signed by Mr E.O. Adjei-Atuahene, the Secretary.

The Association urged the leadership of the NDC to ensure that the party’s structures at all levels were functional and they should be transparent and accountable in their day-to-day administration. The Association counselled all aggrieved party members and supporters to use the appropriate internal mechanisms to seek redress and desist from unwarranted criticisms that could create confusion and divisions in the party.
