Okyereko rice farmers cry for assistance

Gomoa Okyereko(C/R), Oct. 27, GNA – Members of the Okyereko Rice and Vegetable Grower Association have appealed to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) to help find solutions to a number of challenges facing them.

They enumerated some of the challenges as the lack of drying machines, pumping machines, trashing machines and the lack of fertilizers and credit facilities.

Mr Emmanuel Amoak, Chairman of the Association, made these known at the farmers’ forum at Gomoa Okyereko in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
