Okomfo Anokye shrine fetish priest endorses Mahama

The Agonaman Traditional Council in the Ashanti region has endorsed the candidature of President John Dramani Mahama, urging their followers with the support of their ancestors to give the National Democratic Congress (NDC’s) Presidential nominee another four year term to continue with its governance.

Nana Nimako Brebiaman Baduro Bosomfour who is the fetish priest of the great Okomfo Anokye shrine, believes the four-year mandate given president Mahama’s administration is not enough for him to accomplish his plans and policies for the country.

While pouring traditional libation to welcome the Chief of Staff Julius Debrah and his campaign team to the Agona Stool lands on day two of his campaign in the Ashanti region, he urged Ghanaians to give President Mahama another opportunity to lead for four more years.

He urged the Ghanaian electorate to have a deeper thinking of former president John Agyekum Kufour’s public plea for sitting presidents to be given more than the four year-mandate.

‘When Nana Addo visited us, we prayed to the gods to make his wish come true, but if its the will of the gods, I pour this libation for the gods to allow President Mahama continue another term, because no government can satisfy Ghanaians within a four-year term, Ghanaians should help President Mahama win power again,’ he said.
