The North American chapter of Osei Kyeretwie Secondary School Alumni Association (Ahenemma) will hold its second annual conference from July 31-August 1, 2004 at Columbus, Ohio. The conference will take place at Ramada Inn, 6121 Zumstein Drive Columbus, OH, 43229.
Under the theme ?Rebuilding OKESS,? the conference will consider a full slate of issues including the consolidation of the two campuses at the new site, a proposed new layout for the new site, infrastructural development, including a new library, a computer block, construction of a new dormitory and refurbishing the staff common room.
Organizers hope this will be the largest gathering of Ahenemma in North America and the biggest fund raiser in the school?s history. Organizers invite all Ahenemma in North America and elsewhere to attend the conference to help restore OKESS to its proper place on the academic map of Ghana.
