Oil Marketing Company supports TGH Children’s ward

Tema, Dec. 22, GNA — Agapet Limited, Oil Marketing Company based in Tema has presented items worth 20 million cedis to the Children’s ward of the Tema General Hospital (TGH), as part of its social responsibility. The items included a weighing scale, sucker, story books, lamps, toys, bed sheets and cot sheets as well as food items.

The Managing Director of the company Mr Emmanuel Abledu presenting the items expressed the hope that it would go a long way to alleviate some of the problems of the hospital. He said the company has adopted the ward and hoped this would be done annually to help improve on the delivery of its services. Mrs Emile Barnes, Department Director Nursing Services, thanked the company for the gesture and promised that the items would be put to good use. She appealed to other individuals and organisations to come to their aid to help expand the facilities of the ward so that it could cater for the increasing number of patients.
