The people of Nkwanta North in the Volta Region have reportedly discovered oil in that part of the country.
According to the MP for the area,John Oti Bless, a resident digging a borehole struck a substance which appears like crude oil and checks show that it is indeed crude oil.
Mr. Oti Bless told Citi FM’s Richard Sky he has asked the security agencies to secure the oil which has been found on a private property.
