Ohio Based Couple Donate to Kumasi Children’s Home

On March 25th 2014, Ohio based Ghanaian couple , Yaw and Olivia Dela Agyekum donated items worth thousands of dollars to the Kumasi Children’s home on their recent visit to Ghana.

According to the couple “We did that just to help the little ones. Like the bible said it’s better to give then to receive. This is what the bible says in Isaiah 58:10-11. And if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. So our giving was based on the word of God. I wish more people who go to Ghana yearly can do that for these kids.

The gesture and passion for making a difference in the lives of people has made this couple stand out as very successful in the community.
