Oguaa records three Christmas and four Christmas Eve babies

Cape Coast, Dec. 27, GNA – Four babies were born on the eve of Christma= s and three on Christmas day, a visit to some health facilities in the Cape Coast Metropolis by the Ghana News Agency on Saturday morning has revealed. Miss Rose Boachie, the Midwife in charge of the University of Cape Coast Hospital, said two males were delivered at the facility, one on the eve of Christmas and the other on Christmas day and that the babies and their mothers were doing well.

At the Cape Coast District Hospital, the midwife in charge, Miss Veronica Ewusi, said three births were recorded on Christmas eve and that the two males were delivered through caesarean operation while the girl was through normal delivery.

The only baby delivered on Christmas day at the Central Regional Hospital was a boy while the Ewim Urban Health Center also recorded one female baby.
