Oginga GPRTU branch to sanction reckless drivers

Kumasi, Dec 23, GNA- The Kumasi-Accra Highway Express branch of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) has decided to expel any member of the Union who compromises the safety of drivers and pedestrians through reckless driving.

This was made known by Mr Francis Ebo-Nadel, Secretary of the Union when he addressed a forum of the members of the Oginga station in Kumasi, which was facilitated by personnel of the Motor Traffic and Transport Unit of the Ghana Police Service.

Mr Ebo-Nadel called on passengers not to condone reckless driving but endeavour to educate drivers on the need to be responsible on the road.
