The Paramount Chief of the Offinso Traditional Area Nana Wiafe Akenten III, arrived in Toronto on Wednesday July 14, 2004 as a Special guest of Honor for a Fundraising Dinner toward establishing a Study and Computer lab for Ghanaian Canadian Youth in Greater Toronto Area.
Nana Wiafe Akenten III was estooled and swooned in by the Elders and Council of Offinso as the Paramount Chief of the Offinso Traditional Area November 04 & 08, 1993, and was confirmed before Otumfo Opuku Ware II after the death of his uncle Nana Wiafe Akenten II. The Fundraising Dinner Event will be held on Saturday July 17th 2004 at Panemonte Banquet & Convention Hall, 220 Humberline Drive, Etobicoke (Toronto) (Humberline & Finch) at 6:00pm to 11: pm
