Flooding is fast becoming a norm in some parts of Accra and one of such areas is the Graphic road which has recorded flooding in recent times whenever it rains heavily. The area was not spared from Friday morning’s rains as some offices and homes in the area were badly affected by the deluge.
When ghanaweb.com got to the scene in the afternoon, most of the water which flooded some offices which included showrooms of some car dealers had been swept out by the workers.
Our news team was not allowed into the offices to verify the extent of damage but the workers of one office informed us their entire place was flooded and they had to spend the whole morning sweeping out the water. They were still trying to sweep out the little water left when we got there.
The homes of residents in the area were also not spared by the rains.
