Office complex for New Atuabo Methodist Church dedicated

Tarkwa (W/R), July 15, GNA- The Most Reverend Dr. Robert Aboagye Mensah, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church on Tuesday dedicated a Mission House and an office complex for the Church at New Atuabo near Tarkwa.

The 801 million cedis project, which began in December 2001 was funded by the local Church and from special contributions from church members. Rev. Dr. Aboagye Mensah spoke about the importance of the project and commended members for their hard work.

He called on Christians to lead exemplary lives and commit themselves to God. He said Christians must not shun the sick, poor and the needy instead they should have compassion for them and assist such people to “Over come their spiritual and physical problems”.

An appeal for funds yielded 25 million cedis.
