Odeikrom constructs link road

Suhum,(Eastern Region) 28 Oct ’98 The people of Odeikrom, near Suhum, in the Suhum-Kraboa Coaltar district have spent 12 million cedis to construct a four-kilometre road to link the town to the Suhum-Asamankese trunk road. Mr Robert B.Tetteh, assembly member for the area with Mr Enock Adarkwa, a businessman, who conducted newsmen round said the people have also constructed a number of streets. Mr Tetteh said another five and a half kilometre by-pass road linking the town to the Accra-Kumasi trunk road is also under construction. It will cost 10 million cedis. He said the project is being financed through special contribution of 30,000 cedis per residents.
