Odeefuo gets support

 Cape Coast (Central Region), 24th July 99 ?

 The Central Region branch of the Ghana National Association of Chieftaincy Workers (GNACWO) has congratulated Odeefuo Boa Amponsem III, the Denkyirahene, on his election as the president of the National House of Chiefs.

The workers sent their congratulatory message to Odeefuo who is also the president of the Central Region House of Chiefs during their biennial delegate’s conference at Cape Coast on Thursday.

They expressed their belief that the Odeefuo “will live up to expectation and lift the image of the region”.

The message signed by the chairman of the association, Mr H.M. Wilmot, and 56 other delegates assured the newly elected president of their fullest cooperation.

They hoped the Odeefuo would continue to champion the cause of all chieftaincy workers.

The delegates are taking stock of the association’s activities during the past two years as well as chart a new path to enhance the welfare of members.

It was attended by delegates from all the 33 traditional areas of the region.
