Ocloo calls for unity to ensure victory in 2016

William Desmond Ocloo, NDC parliamentary candidate for Shai-Osudoku, has urged members of the party to unite and work hard to ensure the party retained the seat in the 2016 elections.

He said now that the primaries were over, there was the need for members of the party to embrace unity and work towards victory.

Mr Ocloo made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Dodowa in the Shai-Osudoku District.

He commended the past MPs for the area for their hard work which had made the constituency what it was today.

“Now that I am going to take the mantle, I need the support of all of you for me to retain the seat and bring more development to the constituency”, he said.

The NDC parliamentary candidate said the Shai Osudoku Constituency needed more infrastructural development, such as markets, good drinking water, roads, and electricity in some part of the constituency, which had been neglected over the years.

Mr Ocloo expressed the hope that the electorate would give him all the necessary support and vote massively for him to move the constituency forward.
