Obuobia Foundation donates to Muslims towards Ramadan

The CEO of Obuobia Foundation, Ms Obuobia Darko-Opoku on Saturday inspected the progress of work on a Youth mosque her foundation is building for the youth of Mallam and also donated several bags of rice, cooking oil, mats, water, buta and soft drinks to the nine (9) central mosques at Mallam, Gbawe, New Gbawe, SCC, Tetegu, Oblogo, Ayigbe Town and Ashbread, all within the Weija-Gbawe Constituency towards the Ramadan.

Presenting the items to the Imams and leaders of the mosques, Ms Darko-Opoku said this annual gesture to our Muslim brothers and sisters is also to help the less-privileged during the Ramadan.

She believes that this period of fasting and prayers will go a long way in helping bring peace, unity and progress to the Constituency and Ghana as a whole.

Receiving the items, the Imams and Muslim Leaders who were full of praise for her generosity thanked Ms Darko-Opoku for the gesture and commended her for her support every year during Ramadan, and assured her of their support in the development of the Constituency.

They prayed for her and asked Allah to continue blessing her.
