Obinim’s fetish priest seeks God’s forgiveness

Okomfour Yaw Appiah, a Kumasi based fetish priest who prides himself claims he has given some spiritual powers to Bishop Daniel Obinim to run his church, is seeking God’s forgiveness.

He says he regrets giving the magical powers to the founder of the International Gods Way Church to deceive the general public that he is doing the work of God.

The two – Nana Yaw Appiah and Bishop Obinim, planned to face off at the Jubilee park in Kumasi on Tuesday to ascertain whether or not the Bishop is really a man of God.

But the Police in Kumasi stopped the planned show.

Speaking in an interview with Ekourba Gyasi, host of TOP FM’s morning show on Wednesday, the fetish priest, Nana Yaw Appiah reiterated his claim that he gave the magical powers to Bishop Obinim but regrets his action.

He is therefore, seeking God’s forgiveness for his action.

“I ask God to forgive me for giving the powers to him [Bishop Obinim] to deceive the public that he is an anointed man of God,” he said.
