It was on the theme, “Train Today, Girl-child, for a Better Future” and was meant to showcase some of the handiwork of the students and create public awareness on the course content of the institute as well as the benefits both parents and their children derive from the school.

Mr Armah promised to donate five sewing machines to the institute and appealed to parents to take advantage of the modern equipment in the school and send their children there.

The Presiding Member of the assembly and Assembly Member for the Brewire Electoral Area where the school is located, Mr Kwofie appealed to the DCE and the Department of Community Development to provide the institute with a vehicle to enhance its operations.

On her part, the Headmistress of the school, Mad Hajara Yakubu, mentioned the courses offered by the institute as Home Management, Catering, Hairdressing, Needlework and Computer Studies.
