Nyinahinhene lauds government for creating jobs

Nyinahin (Ash), Dec 8, GNA – Nana Amanpene Boateng Twum II, chief of Nyinahin, has lauded the Youth Employment Programme (YEP) of the government, saying it has created jobs for the youth in his traditional area.

He said the programme has also helped some schools that were without teachers.

Nana Boateng Twum, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Nyinahin on Thursday, advised YEP Co-coordinators not to collect bribes and gifts before employing the people.

He advised the coordinators not to play politics with the programme and appealed to the youth to report any coordinator who collected bribe from them for sanctioning. The chief appealed to agricultural field officers to visit farmers regularly to acquaint themselves with problems facing them and find solution to them.
