Nyinahin Traditional Council commends government

Nyinahin, Oct 16, GNA – The Nyinahin Traditional Council has commended President John Agyekum Kufuor for providing the local Catholic Secondary School with a 60-seat Tata bus. Nana Amanpene Boateng Twum, the Nyinahinhene, said the donation had fulfilled a promise the President made to the people when he visited the town sometime ago.

He said the bus had come at an appropriate time since the only bus the school had got burnt about two years ago. Mr Anthony William Mensah, the Headmaster of the school, thanked the chiefs and people in the town for their support for the growth and development of the school.

He mentioned lack of staff accommodation, classrooms, girls’ hostel and dinning hall as some of the problems facing the school and appealed to the chief to use his influence to solve some of the problems for the school. 16 Oct 06
