Nyinahin police chase after wife-butchering husband

Dodowa (Ash.) Nov 24, GNA – The Nyinahin police searching for a 27-year-old farmer, Sahulu Issah, who murdered his wife at Dodowa, a cottage near Nyinahin in the Atwima-Mponua District on November 19. Police Superintendent Samuel Aloredey, the District Commander, told the Ghana News Agency that Issah and the wife Salufa have been married for five years and have two children, the youngest being five months old. He said the couple picked a quarrel and the wife left the matrimonial home to stay with her relatives at Dodowa. Issah visited the wife on the day of the incident and was received warmly by the deceased. She was at the kitchen preparing a meal for the suspect and all of a sudden he drew a machete, attacked and butchered her and fled.
