Accra, Oct. 23, GNA – The Ministry of Manpower, Youth and Employment on Tuesday said payment of arrears of allowances to beneficiaries of the National Youth Employment Programe (NYEP) had started. A statement issued by the Ministry in Accra said it was anticipated that payment would be completed within two weeks. Beneficiaries of the NYEP have complained bitterly about the non-payment of their allowances for a number of months.
