Nyantakyi charges Black Stars to restore Ghanaian hopes

The president of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has urged the Black Stars to push hard for victory against European giants Germany, to restore hopes of progress.

The Black Stars will have to get a positive scoreline against the high-flying Germans to at least give themselves a fighting chance against Portugal in the final group game.

Captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan has tagged the game as a must win for the Stars.

Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi has now added his voice, urging the team to put up a performance worthy of Ghanaians.

“The game against Germany won’t be best, but it’s not impossible,” the President said.

“We are Ghanaians and we have a strong attitude, I am urging the team to go all out against the Germans and win the game.

“They need the prayers and support of Ghanaians, with that and total commitment am sure we can surpass them.”

Kwesi Nyantakyi has masterminded all Ghana’s world cup appearances as president of the Ghana football association.
