NVP to establish states farms to boost Agriculture

Kumasi, Feb. 14, GNA – The New Vision Party (NVP), when voted into power in 2012, would revamp the Agricultural sector by establishing State Farms that will not only create employment opportunities for the youth but also ensure food security in the country.

Prophet Daniel Yaw Nkansah, Leader and Founder NVP said this at a rally, organized by the party in Kumasi on Friday, as part of his campaign tour of some Constituencies in the Ashanti Region. He said the party has plans to introduce free National Health Insurance Scheme in the country to help improve the health status of the people. Prophet Nkansah noted that bad leadership over the years had been a major obstacle to the speedy development of the country and that the party, when given the mandate, would offer exceptional leadership qualities, that would promote good governance and economic development. He said since education is vital for the socio-economic development of the country, the NVP, as its policy, would promote education in the country by introducing free education from the basic level to the Senior High School.

Prophet Nkansah also said the party would reduce the tax burden, to enable businesses to expand and create employment opportunities for the youth He said “the days of the political dominance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) are gone and that it is time of the NVP to take over as the next government”. Prophet Nkansah stressed the need for the people to be politically conscious and pinpoint the weaknesses of the ruling NDC and vote the party out of power.

The Leader and Founder appealed to Ghanaians to support the party to win the 2012 elections.

He appealed to the executives of the various constituencies in the region to map out effective strategies and also educate the people about the objectives and ideologies of the party to win more people for the party.
