NSS personnel in Ashanti elect Osei Gabriel as President

Kumasi, March 21, GNA – The Ashanti branch of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has elected Gabriel Osei as its Regional President. He polled 39 votes to beat 12 other contestants. This was at the Association’s delegates’ congress held at the Civil Servants Association Hall in Kumasi.

Other officers elected were Miss Afia Serwaa Adjei Achampong, Vice President; Miss Helena Wireko, Secretary; Miss Sylvia Frimpomaa, Financial Secretary, and Mr Johnson Asare Antwi, Organizing Secretary. Mr Kwesi Quainoo, Regional Director of the National Service Scheme, advised the newly elected Executive to be united and accountable. They should set good example to inspire their colleagues to work hard in support national development.

Mr Osei said they were grateful for the trust reposed in them and promised that they would live up to expectation. 21 March 10
