NSS inaugurates office projects

The newly constructed office for the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) and refurbished Ashanti Regional Secretariat had been inaugurated.

The NASPA project was implemented through monthly contributions by the service personnel.

Funds for the secretariat’s renovation on the other hand came from Naachia Group of Companies, a Kumasi-based estate developing company.

Mr. Kwesi Quainoo, Regional Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), who inaugurated the projects said it would enable the service personnel to be able to operate in a more convenient working environment.

He thanked the company for the gesture.

Mr. Vincent Senam Kuagbenu, Executive Director of the NSS, called on other private enterprises to emulate the example of Dr. Kwame Appiah-Opoku, Chief Executive Officer, Naachia Group of Companies.

Dr. Appiah-Opoku said his company’s assistance was part of its corporate social responsibility.**
