Social Orphans Home Proprietress of Orphans Home Appeals for Support

Tapa-Abotoase (V/R), June 19, GNA – The proprietress of an orphanage has appealed to benevolent organisations to assist her cater for 14 orphans now under her care. Making the appeal, Mrs Grace Nabaku, proprietress of Adom Foundation and Child Care at Tapa-Abotoase in the Volta Region, said eight of the inmates under her care were children of victims of the 2006 boat disaster on the Volta Lake at Abotoase which claimed many lives. She indicated that some of the orphans were in Junior High School in her private school, and that she needed support both in cash and in kind to enable her to afford their upkeep. 19 June 10
