The 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz mistress Dr. Elsie Kauffman has said social media played a crucial role in popularising the competition this year.
“I believe that social media was the difference between this year’s competition,” the moderator of Ghana’s most popular brain battle told Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday.
“The National Science and Maths Quiz has been there for a long time, but the social media platform was the magic wand that attracted the attention of the general public,” she added.
She was full of praise of the contestants of the competition which saw Kumasi-based Prempeh College winning ahead of St. Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College.
This is the fourth time the Amanfoo are lifting the trophy.
