Nsawam District Police Command appeals for support

The Nsawam District Police Command has appealed for support to enable it to rehabilitate the charge office and the divisional headquarters.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, the District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Akwasi Kankam-Boadu said, the whole police facility at Nsawam needs rehabilitation.

He said the police service had begun the rehabilitation of the Nsawam Police Station and the Divisional Headquarters with a donation from the Ghana Commercial Bank.

He said the donation is not sufficient for the full rehabilitation of the police facilities at Nsawam, and that, they have been able to buy some roofing sheets from the donation for the charge office and the divisional headquarters, which are seriously leaking.

Chief Superintendent Kankam-Boadu appealed to other institutions to support the police to enable them to fully rehabilitate the divisional headquarters and the residential facilities of the police.
