NRCC inaugurates staff clinic

A clinic has been inaugurated at the premises of the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC) in Tamale to address the health needs of its (NRCC) staff members.

Alhaji Mohammed-Muniru Limuna, Northern Regional Minister, who inaugurated the facility, said it was to take care of the welfare of the staff and urged them to patronize it.

Services to be rendered at the facility included counselling in regenerative health, out-patient department services, detention, and first aid before making referrals to main hospitals.

Alhaji Alhassan Issahaku, Northern Regional Coordinating Director said the facility would help prevent the situation where some staff members gave excuses of ill-health for not being at post or to seek leave to attend hospital as they would first be examined at the facility.

Madam Gertrude Yentumi, Sagnarigu District Director of Health Services urged the staff to take interest in regenerative health to avoid diseases.
