NPP’s Bugri Naabu denies being a divisive person

Daniel Bugri Naabu, Northern Regional Chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP), has rubbished media reports that he is carrying out political vendetta in the region.

The Savelugu NPP Constituency Organiser, Youth Organiser and Communications Officer accused Mr Naabu at a news conference of targeting them because they campaigned against his bid to become regional chairman.

He told Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra that Alhassan Ding, the Constituency Chairman informed him that the three local executives have been suspended and are facing a disciplinary committee for allegedly campaigning for a candidate in the area to become NPP parliamentary candidate in violation of the party’s constitution.

“My only knowledge about the case was that I asked the three party executives to meet the disciplinary committee for an amicable resolution of the matter.

“I am the father of the party in the region, how can I be a divisive person or carry out personal vendetta against NPP members I am suppose to work with?” He asked.
